John Lennon – Imagine
Betekenis achter het lied
De in 1980 overleden John Lennon bracht de single Imagine uit in 1971. Dit was één van de eerste liedjes die hij zelfstandig uitbracht, nadat hij geen lid meer was van The Beatles.
Het lied is gericht op wereldvrede en was het officieel een lied van Amnesty International, toch is het in de uitvaartbranche ook erg populair. De tekst over verbroedering, wereldvrede en een saamhorige wereld spreekt veel mensen aan.
